The biggest combined homebuilding and home improvement event comes to Sandown Park

For the first time this year, Britain’s largest homebuilding, renovating and home improvement shows are joining forces to attract both self-builders and remodelers. The inaugural Southern Homebuilding & Renovating and Home Improvement Show will take place in Surrey at Sandown Park from 28-29 June to cater for all projects, tastes and budgets. This year’s event will host over 150 exclusive exhibitors, free seminars and masterclasses, and a wide range of property experts will be on call to provide tips, advice and answers to visitors’ property questions.

For information on the crucial aspects of homebuilding and improvement including design, self-build, extensions, remodeling, landscaping, finance, budgeting and legal issues, visitors can attend the free daily seminars and masterclasses hosted by professional companies and key celebrity experts. The Advice Centre is opento discuss project plans and find solutions to any issues by visiting the live theatre demonstrations. To learn how to hang a shelf or frame a painting, the tricks of the trade presentations are hosted byDIY Doctor Mike Edwards, who will show consumers how to tackle these tasks with confidence and ease.

For specialist help, homeowners can talk directly and individually with 2014’s show panel that includes: Michael Holmes (editor-in-chief, Homebuilding & Renovating magazine), Jason Orme (editor of Homebuilding & Renovating magazine and self-build expert), Sally Tagg (planning projects expert at Homebuilding & Renovating magazine), David Snell (Homebuilding & Renovating magazine’s self-build and plot finding expert), Tim Pullen (eco expert at Homebuilding & Renovating magazine),Bob Branscome (chartered surveyor and builder) and Chris Reeves (Homebuilding & Renovating magazine’s Legal Expert and chartered builder and lawyer).
