The biggest combined homebuilding and home improvement event comes to Sandown Park

For the first time this year, Britain’s largest homebuilding, renovating and home improvement shows are joining forces to attract both self-builders and remodelers.

The inaugural Southern Homebuilding & Renovating and Home Improvement Show will take place in Surrey at Sandown Park from 28-29 June to cater for all projects, tastes and budgets. This year’s event will host over 150 exclusive exhibitors, free seminars and masterclasses, and a wide range of property experts will be on call to provide tips, advice and answers to visitors’ property questions.

As part of a new national educational initiative, The Department of Energy and Climate Change will be hosting seminars at the exhibition to advise visitors on how to take advantage of the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) scheme’s sustainable energy technologies and financial benefits. Visitors can stop by the zone to find out if they qualify for a monetary incentive and access the latest information from RHI experts.

For those seeking interior and colour scheme recommendations, the Dulux Design Service Drop-in Clinic hosts professional designers who will help visitors transform their home into a beautiful property. One-on-one free consultations are available to help consumers choose the most appropriate accessories and furniture for their renovation project.

Potton’s self-build experts will be able to consult on any stage of the housing project, from laying the foundations and erecting the building, to architecture and interior design.

Alternatively, visitors can bring their building and renovation plans to a one-on-one meeting with an experienced and dedicated team of creative specialists at The Oakwrights Design Consultation Service, where they will find all the help they need to choose their plot and make construction decisions. With years of experience building oak framed homes, these certified designers can explain the advantages of opting for the Oakwrights build process, which will allow the flexibility and resistance needed to satisfy the most ambitious demands.
