Business responsbility discussed at Basepoint Newhaven’s Networking Hub

Basepoint Newhaven is hosting its next Networking Hub on Thursday 22nd May with a presentation discussing ‘The blame game – who takes responsibility?’ by guest speaker, Paul Yates-Smith from Sussex Business Bureau (pictured).

Paul will be providing businesses with real, up-to-date examples based on his own experiences in business, foregrounding why honesty and integrity are important and add tangible value to any brand.

During the last 20 years, Paul has accrued a wide knowledge of both small and large business operations, working as a National Key Account Executive for a national electronic brand. Paul decided to start his own business during the recession, setting up a business networking group in Brighton which has now grown into a vibrant interim management business offering a new product development support service and affordable incubation for start-ups. Paul is a well-known speaker and small business champion both on TV, radio and newspapers.

Roxanne Haid, centre manager at the Basepoint operated business centre, comments: “We are looking forward to our next Networking Hub with guest speaker, Paul Yates-Smith, who will be on hand to provide tips and advice to local businesses. There will also be chance for attendees to generate new business, meet new contacts and maintain business relationships.”

Sponsoring the event is Aardvark Training, a thriving people training agency, based in Lewes and established in 1999.
