Captain Flinn and his Dinosaurs Set Sail for Worthing

Captain Flinn and the Pirate Dinosaurs will raise the main sail on a theatrical adventure at Worthing’s Connaught Theatre on October 11th and 12th following an award winning run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, London Wonderground and the Southbank Centre.

Based on the award-winning book by Purple Ronnie creator Giles Andreae and Russell Ayto, the production follows Flinn as he discovers a pirate hiding in the school supply closet and begins pirate adventure. Captain Stubble commandeers Flinn’s help to find his stolen ship, but there are some pirate dinosaurs on the loose and Flinn and his friends soon sail into trouble.

Adventurers over two-years-old will find out whether Flinn will be able to captain the ship and defeat the pirate dinosaurs, whether Pirate Pearl will be brave enough to battle the dangerous dinosaurs and if terrified Tom will be back home in time for tea.

Winner of The Primary Times Children’s Choice Award, Captain Flinn and the Pirate Dinosaurs will be brought to the stage by Les Petits Theatre Company, the children’s theatre company from the team behind internationally-acclaimed company Les Enfants Terribles. Les Petits Theatre Company was created in 2013 to take well-known and loved children’s literature from the page to theatrical life in new and child-friendly ways.

The action-packed play has been adapted for performance by Nicole Lewis and Oliver Lansley who combine live music, puppetry and physical theatre to take the dastardly dinosaurs from the high-seas and onto the stage.
