CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS - BRUSSELS IS NOW OUR GOVERNMENT!

Who should we blame for this terrible blunder of joining Brussels who seem to have the last word on any decisions the United Kingdom Government make!  It seems John Major was in power then – it must have been one of his ‘grey days.’

[England and the rest of the UK joined the European Union on 1 November 1993 when the Treaty on European Union (otherwise known as the Treaty of Maastricht) came into force. No country could have joined before November 1993 as the European Union did not exist till the Treaty on European Union came into force.]

It’s all over the television, in the newspapers; there is no getting away from it. Anything that we enjoy eating is bad for us.  As a mother, I am aware that sugary sweets and processed foods are detrimental to our health.  I try to plan my meals for the family with a balanced diet in mind.

I shan’t dwell on this subject too long, because I know that tightrope situations are at this moment in time prevailing over the death of Margaret Thatcher, which is inevitable in all our lives!  That is why I can never understand some persons mentality whether they be young, middle aged or older.  People who think they can get away with murder and those who think that Anarchy is the first word in the Dictionary.
