Dave Abrahams has a remarkably focused dedication to technology, business and building strong community ties. Combining these passions, his title of “online entrepreneur” is justified.
Having the opportunity through his business connections to sit on a number of Australian industry boards and committees means Dave advises large organisations and Government agencies. Consequently, he has been appointed as one of the National Broadband Network (NBN), Broadband “Champions” for the state of New South Wales. The National Broadband Network will see a nationwide fibre optic wholesale infrastructure investment from the Australian Government.
Dave’s influence is further extended to the Australian community through his honest technology appraisals and insights, which he shares with listeners on Australia’s National Radio Network - ABC local radio, where his on-air persona is “Digital” Dave.
When he is not relaxing in the seaside suburb of Kilcare, on the NSW Central Coast, he spends his time as a Surf Life Saver & taking in the scenery while cycling. His other 'home' is Norway, where his nearest family members live and he finds the similarities between Norwegians and Australians incredibly fascinating.
Ultimately, Dave loves enterprising projects and more importantly the people that grow them.
