Could your group benefit from a Wellbeing grant of up to £1,000?

Grants for amounts up to £1,000 are available for voluntary, community and charity groups in the Arun district, which covers Arundel, Bognor Regis, Littlehampton and many of the surrounding villages. Applications are invited from not-for-profit organisations for activities that promote or support wellbeing and health.

The Arun Wellbeing and Health Partnership has a small grants fund of £5,000 with an easy one stage application process. The next deadline for submissions is Friday 9 June 2017 and applications will be considered by the Appraisal Panel during the last week in June with successful applicants receiving their award around the end of August.

To be eligible for funding, groups and organisations must demonstrate that their activities either promote or support one or more of the Arun Wellbeing and Health Partnership priorities, which include prevention of ill-health, information, improving mental wellbeing, tackling health inequalities, providing services for older people to enable better quality of life, and working with families, young people and children on a range of lifestyle issues.

Further information on the priorities can be provided by contacting the Arun Wellbeing team.
Groups who benefitted from a grant last year include My Sisters’ House, Enable Me, Options Pregnancy Crisis Centre, Littlehampton Men’s Shed, Headway West Sussex and Shopmobility.
