FOOD FAIR IN A FANTASTIC DOWNLAND SETTING
Don’t miss the very best tastes of the south east this May Day Bank Holiday Sunday and Monday at the Weald & Downland Open Air Museum at Singleton, near Chichester, West Sussex.
This years Food and Farming Fair promises to be an extra special treat for food and drink lovers everywhere, with not only a mouth-watering array of delicious local produce to sample and buy, but a brand new competition – ‘The Downland Cookery Challenge’ – for amateur cooks across the region, with the final ‘cook-off’ taking place live on the Sunday. The event will also include a showcase of downland farming, with a number of activities and demonstrations to interest all the family.
The Food and Farming Fair will be open on 1 & 2 May from 10.30am – 5pm. Admission charges are: adults £9.50, over 60s £8.50; children £5, family ticket £26, under 4s free, and include a full day’s entry to all the Museum buildings and outdoor exhibits.
