Exclusive: Worthing jobs boost thanks to care firm

Thirteen new jobs have been created at a Worthing care firm thanks to its continuing expansion.

Care2Connect provides homecare services to clients across Worthing and the surrounding areas. It is on the lookout for new staff after going from strength-to-strength and doubling in size over the past 18 months.

Managing director, Peter Grimshaw (pictured), said he was pleased his firm was in a position to offer a boost to the local jobs market.

“We’re proud of our achievements and the reputation we have acquired as one of the leading care providers on the South Coast,” said Mr Grimshaw. “We’re keen to build on this and we plan to develop new services in more areas over the next 12 months. We need a number of new care staff to enable us to achieve this ambition.

“We currently have a dedicated, highly-trained team of front-line staff providing excellent care services to our customers across West Sussex.

“We’re thrilled that we now have these new full and part time vacancies to offer to the people of Worthing, Adur and Arun. As part of this recruitment drive, we’re looking for compassionate, caring people who want to be part of our team. Previous experience isn’t always necessary, as we are able to offer full training to the right individuals.”

Mr Grimshaw said he was keen to highlight the personal and community benefits that a career in caring could bring.

“Care work can be a very rewarding and fulfilling career choice, as the nature of our work allows people to stay in their family homes and within their local communities, maintaining their independence and dignity, instead of being moved into care homes,” he said.

Anyone interested in joining Care2Connect as a home carer should contact visit www.care2connect.co.uk/jobs or should contact Mr Grimshaw on 01903 264089.

Due to the nature of the work, applicants must be able to drive and have access to their own vehicles.
