James Doyle is the Liberal Democrat candidate for Worthing Pier. James has been involved in local politics since the early 1990s and served as Mayor of Worthing in 2003-04. Away from politics, he is an amateur actor, having performed and directed in many productions, including 'Midsummer Night's Dream' at Arundel Castle for the Arundel Festival, and the Duke of Buckingham in 'Richard III' at Southwick for Wick Theatre. He enjoys reading and writing (having had a number of poems published).  He even gives The Sussex Newspaper a recital of his favourite poem....

There are around 85 cheesmakers in Sussex, but one stands head and shoulders above the rest. The High Weald Dairy run by husband and wife team Sarah and Mark Hardy offers the widest range of cheese in the county, there were 14 on the last count, and their award-winning collection is made from organic cow's milk (from their own farm) as well as goat and sheep's milk, sourced from their nearest suppliers.

In early June 2009 31 year-old Shaun Troke had everything going for him.
A talented actor and director Shaun, who lives in South Heighton, near Newhaven, had just finished writing a film script. A psychological horror movie he was ready to start pitching it as he was hoping to start shooting it in October that year.
