Sussex author Teresa Hamilton’s new ebook,  Choices,  has made its debut on Amazon to high critical acclaim.
The novel,  which tells the story of the dilemma’s facing wife and mother Lauren Harding, introduces the genre of hen-lit as an alternative to chick-lit in books.

In the story, Lauren’s idyllic world is turned upside down when she is suddenly confronted by her husband’s infidelity, news that she has fallen pregnant and the prospect of a new love in her life.

Commenting on the novel, one critic said: “What a lovely book. Warm and sweet and very real - you soon get sucked in to a world you feel you know, a world that's full of people you're sure you know. It's a fantastically readable and hard to put down. Thoroughly recommended.”

Another said: “The characters are well drawn and believable, the dialogue rings true and I found myself urging Lauren to make the right choices - not that she listened!”

A spokesman for Choices publisher  Mithra Publishing said:  “Choices is a fantastic story that will appeal to anyone who has had to make difficult decisions about their relationship.   It has all the makings of a brilliant movie and that is wholly due to Teresa’s talent for creating real-life characters and thought-provoking dilemmas.”

Teresa’s second novel, 'Love, Suzi', has also won the Circalit competition online.  Her prize is a critique by Anna Jean Hughes, assistant editor at Random House

Choices is available as an ebook on Amazon and through Mithra Publishing.
