Runner Bean Relish

This is a great recipe to use up your glut of runner beans, and is perfect for the stringy ones as it is blended to break down the fibres. Tastes fab with cheese!

Runner Bean Relish
500g chopped runner beans
1 onion
olive oil for frying
150ml vinegar
100g sugar
1tsp cumin
1 tsp garam masala
½ tsp turmeric
1tsp salt
Chop and lightly fry the onion. Add all the other ingredients to the pan and boil for 10-15 minutes. Allow to cool slightly. Place in a processer and whizz until smooth.
