TSN is told the Healthy Mid Sussex Partnership has funded the development of a brilliant online resource of local health and wellbeing services for readers in Mid Sussex.
The start of the New Year is, of course, the time when many people decide upon resolutions for the twelve months ahead – often to lose weight, cut down on alcohol or become more active. The Mid Sussex Wellbeing website is the ideal place for everyone to find out how to improve their physical and emotional health.
The Mid Sussex Wellbeing website www.midsussexwellbeing.org.uk is a one-stop-shop for all information on health and wellbeing services in Mid Sussex. The website contains sections on physical and emotional health and provides links to local and national services. The site provides information on issues that directly affect our health such as drinking and smoking but also covers topics which may not immediately appear to be health related, such as access to public transport.
In addition to the links to other services the Partnership has developed a searchable database of approximately 750 not-for-profit organisations providing health and wellbeing services in Mid Sussex such as lunch clubs, support groups and debt advice services.
