A new daytime club providing sport and leisure activities in Shoreham for adults with learning difficulties is set to open next month.

Called “Out There! West Sussex”, the club will initially be offering yoga on Friday mornings from 10am to 11.30am at the Glebelands Day Centre.

The charity Outreach 3 Way, which will be running the session, hopes eventually to offer a variety of different activities. It is hoped to start the first session on 10 February, at a cost of £5 per person.
It will add to the Out There! West Sussex clubs already being run across the county and supported by the West Sussex County Council.

These are in Angmering, Burgess Hill, Chichester, Crawley, Horsham and Littlehampton and provide activities from arts and crafts, drama and beauty sessions, to football, cricket and martial arts.
Evening clubs have also been set up in Chichester, Horsham and Worthing.

Outreach 3 Way was awarded an 18-month contract to run Out There! West Sussex in partnership with Ferring Country Centre, Worthing Mencap and the Grace Eyre Foundation.
