Prevention and Wellbeing Grants will be distributed to local good causes by North Horsham County Local Committee (CLC) later this month.
Earlier this year, voluntary and community organisations were invited to apply for a share of West Sussex County Council’s Prevention and Wellbeing Grants Programme with bids of up to £5,000.
The applications process has since closed and the Committee will assess requests from the North Horsham area.
The Committee will also be finding out more about the West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service Consultation.
They will receive a presentation on Phase 2 of the redesign, covering local issues for the North Horsham area before being asked to comment on the proposals as part of the wide consultation.
Information about the consultation will be on display from 6.30pm.
A report about the West of Horsham Strategic Development, which will provide on the highways, transport and infrastructure projects required is also on the agenda, while other items include the election of a Chairman and Vice Chairman for the 2014/15 year.
The Committee meet on Monday, June 23 at 7pm in the Main Conference Room, County Hall North, Chart Way, Horsham, RH12 1XH.
