Chasing me chasing me I can not outrun angry wave,
Giant hand of water like a slap in the face, has come to swallow up the human race,
Melting pot Ocean, dolphin lost its grin, sand is a place it can not swim,
Fish hang from palm trees, coconuts float, boat’s teetering on rooftops thrown up by dinosaur wave,
Surfboards like a timepiece, spinning out faster, balanced bronzed statues lost,
Mobiles ring out ‘Do they know it’s Christmas’.
Fishnets caught with tinsel, seaweed, mascara and sun block, plastic angel made in Taiwan,
I hear zephyr voices calling ‘ What is your name’.
‘ I am the Wind, Rain, Cloud, Sun, Moon, I am Tsunami’!
I closed my eyes and all was still,
And the people cried!
