And this week's Pet of the Week is....Tally!

My name is Michael Bentley and I live with my partner Angie in Old Town, Eastbourne.

Since last October we have adopted our lovely black and white cat, Tally, who is two years old and UNIQUE!

She is very placid and affectionate, and has lots of little ways which are very endearing. For example, she sits on the corner of the bath and plays with our toes (sometimes reaching right under the water with her front paw and then licking the bubbles off afterwards!)

She also comes under the duvet with us at night and lies between us, often rolling on her back to have her tummy tickled. That's how you see her in this photo.

Her likes include: drinking water from the tap, Felix cat food, fishy treats, sitting at the front window and keeping an eye on the road, having her tummy stroked, sleeping next to a radiator in cold weather, and exploring neighbours' gardens!

She doesn't seem to dislike many things, except being encouraged to do what she doesn't want to. She has her own routine and will not be forced into anything!

She's special to us both for all of the above reasons, but especially to me as I have long-term health problems which prevent me from working, and Angie lives away from home for three days and nights a week. So Tally is great company for me and I never feel alone.
