A CHARITY Father Christmas, in the shape of Tony Parris, has arrived at the South Downs Heritage Centre in mid Sussex along with his seasonal helpers of Mrs Christmas and Elf.
Â
He has taken up his seasonal residence thanks to Burgess Hill District Lions which presents Santa’s Grotto at the Hassocks tourist attraction.
“Children will be able to visit Santa and receive a presentâ€, says the Lions’ Tony Parris. “This is an essential part of a child’s Christmas and we welcome parents taking photos to provide a lasting memory.â€
The grotto at the Brighton Road nurseries and heritage centre is open on Saturdays and Sundays until 20 December, and through the venue's late-night shopping extravaganza on Wednesday 2 December.
