Television presenter, photographer, traveller and wildlife expert Chris Packham presents an evening at the Pavilion Theatre on Monday July 12 filled with 100 photographs which create a visual journey around the world.

Lebanon, an unforgettable portrayal of the horrors of war through the eyes of an Israeli soldier in an armoured tank during the ill-fated Israeli invasion of Lebanon in 1982.  Reminiscent of Das Boot, the classic German u-boat film, the human side of soldiers and civilians is a haunting examination of young men out of their depth.  On the other side of the Israeli border comes the tales of Palestinian Ilia Suleiman in The Time that Remains. His film spans his family’s experiences from 1948 to the present, the powerful film amusing, affecting, moving and very personal.
