Weekly pension surgeries will be held at Burgess Hill Town Council’s Help Point, 96 Church Walk to provide expert advice on pension issues locally.  The surgery will be held every Wednesday from 10.00-13.00 hours and will operate on a drop in basis from 10.00-11.00 hours and from 11.00-13.00 hours it will be by appointment only.  The next advice session takes place on Wednesday 9 February 2011.

More than 130 people gathered at the Winter Garden on Wednesday afternoon to discuss Eastbourne culture and share ideas for how cultural activities can be improved for the town, through stronger partnerships, better communications, and more grass-roots activity.

Eastbourne RNLI Launched 112 times in 2010

Official statistics released by the RNLI this week show that Eastbourne RNLI Lifeboats launched a staggering 112 times during 2010 and rescued 118 people, making it one of the busiest coastal stations in the country.
