It looks like the Eastbourne populace have turned their backs on Stephen Lloyd, once MP for Eastbourne & Willingdon, after all his hard work for the town. I am sure that Eastbourne & the Willingdon population will rue the day.
Those that voted for the Conservative Party have given them a passport for five years of BEDROOM TAX, BUT NOT MANSION TAX – HOSPITALS BEING SPLIT IN HALF. D.C. will make sure that his backers – ALL THOSE MILLIONAIRES AND BILLIONAIRES ARE LOOKED AFTER and the POOR WILL PAY HEAVILY THROUGH THEIR NOSES. All I can state – you only have yourselves to blame for five years of misery of more cuts and higher taxes and I wonder how many U-TURNS ON HIS MANIFESTO PROMISES TO THE POPULACE HE’S GOING TO MAKE.
I understand from resources that Pensioners can expect up to £300 fuel payment however wealthy they are – so that includes the MILLIONAIRES & BILLIONAIRES – CLEVER! Pensioners will have to wait till 2020 to receive an update of up to £7,000 on their pensions, although the Government’s “Triple Lock” will ensure that the State Pension will rise every year in line with wages or 2.5% – whichever is the highest – until at least till 2020. (Explanation of “Triple Lock” can be obtained from the Internet under the section of Manifesto for Pensioners).
Resources have stated that that the Tories have enthusiastically adopted the plan for a further £22 Billion of closures to NHS Hospitals – disguised as a £8 Billion increase! Obviously they are under a delusion that they are not going to age and won’t need treatment in the future.
Sangeeta Bhabra on Meridian TV news interviewed a spokesperson regarding the closing down of two hospitals, namely Maidstone and Margate in Kent and placing all the essential medical services at Canterbury – so everyone living in Margate and Maidstone have to travel to Canterbury General Hospital. Apart from that an alleged report regarding Canterbury Hospital says that the services provided are below par of patient care.
Not one of the three questions that Sangeeta Bhabra asked this spokesperson was answered correctly. A load of gibberish and twaddle came out of his mouth. There are no M Roads to Canterbury Hospital, only A & B routes, so anyone having to travel to that hospital will have a devil of a job getting there.
It is a frustrating situation and one would think that the Government were trying their best to get rid of the older generation, bearing in mind that it was the older generation that saved the world from a possible second holocaust. Come on D.C. do the decent thing – stop cost cutting the N.H.S. Hospitals!

Roads in Eastbourne are being re-surfaced, the only catch is that these roads were done less than four months ago – had they been done properly the first time, it wouldn’t have been necessary for them to be done again. Wasting the TAX PAYERS MONEY AGAIN. EAST SUSSEX COUNTY COUNCIL seem to waste our money time and time again, especially the painting on the roads of the spiders web around the Memorial roundabout and then having to spend more money redoing the road surface to rub it out!
