Special award for veteran RNLI fundraiser

To mark over 20 years fundraising for the charity the Royal National Lifeboat Institution has awarded a specially commissioned plaque to long term supporter Frank Wellbelove

Frank started his support for the RNLI over 20 years ago, first at his home town station The Mumbles and later for Eastbourne lifeboats. Over the years Frank, along with his wife Jane, has organised many events and raffles at his retirement village home at Deanland Wood Park raising approaching £20,000 for his favourite charity.

The plaque was presented to Frank by the Chairman of the Lifeboat Management Group Dr Colin Mckee along with some of the current crew of Eastbourne lifeboats.
