STREETLIFE

It all depends on how you word your comment on STREETLIFE whether you can advertise an item to sell or purchase.  As long as you read the rules of those in charge all well and good – funny but I haven’t seen any rules and when I joined this fraternity system of communication with my fellow persons I wasn’t given a printed out copy of rules and regulations.  Only when you go over the boundaries of their rules do you get a warning and a withdrawal of your comment.

All these organisations are wonderful if you just want to chat with someone in your area who maybe you can do a favour for – but mention the magic words “selling something” and their Genie rears its ugly head.  I just happened to mention that my new book had just been published – “The Adventures of Bertram Bear” and all hell let loose with their alarm bells.  What’s in it for us!  I gave no price or that you could buy one from the Author.

FACEBOOK are the people who are more sympathetic in that sphere. As long as you don’t theoretically set up a stall to sell on a large scale you are going to be alright.

Government Rules!

This report is now pre-historic since the change-over of Government leader when David Cameron tried very hard to bribe the country that if we left the safety curtain of Brussels we could expect to enter World War three.  How desperate is that for a gambit!

We will shortly be joining the penniless on the streets begging because the government keep on finding ways of putting on pressures with new stealth taxes.  For arguments sake the extra two and a half percent that they have added to VAT has put entertainment in a no go area.  Apparently all the musicians have packed away their instruments for gigs that were organised to happen the latter part of 2016 and the following year.

The extra vat on entertainment will have to be passed onto the public who go and see professional productions and the ticket prices will zoom to greater heights. Please don’t expect much any change from £100 for a group of four people.

These Billionaires and Millionaires won’t feel any pressures on tax as apparently they’ll get the same fuel payments and all the other freebies going when they reach 65 years of age.  Poor little greedy dears!

What will Mrs. May do?

The Government are off the hook over immigration, seeing that other Governments are telling us what to do about immigrants and I can remember a BBC Television programme with DC shouting the odds on immigration – how did it go – “No Ifs or Buts, I will stem the flow of immigrants.”  ‘Pigs might fly DC!’  Another piece of news that has come to my attention is that Schools are under pressure with the influx of 38,000 children that flooded into the UK last year and of course all are speaking in their native tongue.  No wonder Teachers are feeling the strain.  A mere pittance of a wage increase for the people who do all the work, the Public Sector, while the MP’s get a whacking 20% rise on top of their exorbitant pay.

Why can’t Mansion Tax and bedroom tax be introduced to the rich – are there two different rules in this country? We all have to abide by the same laws, or do we?  Some MP’s get away with claiming maintenance for two properties and if they are someone special, they get a gentle slap on the wrist and admonished with “don’t do it again, I might have to sack you.”  We the people get slung in prison.
