I think it was a terrible decision to let the public at large vote who stay on “STRICTLY COME DANCING.” It seems that they vote for their favourites and not the technical content of the dancing. The contestants who work the hardest to perfect their routines are being penalised by people voting who haven’t a clue. The point which the public in general are missing is down to the expertise of the choreography and the performance of the couple that are performing and not because someone has a pair of trousers of a certain colour that someone likes. It is an unfair judgement and the reason that there are four expert judges in the show is because they know what they are talking about.
BLACK FRIDAY FARCE OR GREED
How shocking to see people actually falling over each other to be the first into a store so that they can purchase a 32” Television for a few pounds less than the original price – if only they could see themselves and if they could take stock of their behaviour they would see how grubby their actions appear to others. All general stores have sales throughout the year, so I can’t see why people come out in their droves to buy something that they think is cheaper just because somebody in America entitled a Friday as BLACK. They are more likely to be able to buy the same product at the same price in a SPRING SALE.
MOBILE PHONES
How many people do you see driving with a fag in one hand gripping the steering wheel and a mobile phone in the other hand? The ultimate crime is having a child in the front seat with no seat belt on. I have witnessed mothers and fathers driving their children to school who for one reason or another break these rules.
Mobile phones are like a drug to lots of people even when going to a classical concert or a musical – the audience are using mobile phones. The announcement made by the theatre doesn’t seem to have an effect as they, the audience are still fiddling with their phones and the glare of the back light is quite disturbing to others.
Taking photographs of a performance is illegal and the people who do that are jeopardising the Company that are performing who are liable to face heavy fines and banned from performing ever again.
