THE HUNT IS ON FOR ACTORS

Steyning Drama Club has put out a call for actors. The group, which meets weekly in central Steyning, offers a warm and supportive welcome to anyone dreaming of treading the boards. Its productions range from comedy to drama so there is plenty of scope for all.
Says founder, Velma Oxtoby: ‘No experience is necessary but enthusiasm, passion and a sense of humour are essential. If acting isn’t your bag, how about being involved in a supporting role? Set design and build, props, lighting and stage managing are just some of the many roles that make for a polished production.’
Workshops are scheduled for the coming months when would-be actors can hone their skills.
