The Adventures of Bertram Bear is The Sussex Newspaper’s Book Of The Year

The Sussex Newspaper’s Book Of The Year has been named as The Adventures of Bertram Bear by Gregory Gower.  A very close runner up was Life Presented in Verse by Laurie Wilkinson.  Both books will be promoted on The Sussex Newspaper’s front page for a year.  They will also be promoted on our social networks.

The Sussex Newspaper editor Kizzi Nkwocha said: “We were overwhelmed by the quality of the entries for the 2018 Book Of The Year.  These two books stood out for their imagination, warmth and their ability to strike a responsive chord with readers.
