Here at The Sussex Newspaper we love to promote new businesses and talent that we feel is well worth a mention. One of these such companies is Truly Natural Photography.
The lady behind the camera is Nadia . She lives in Horley, Surrey and during the day works as a full time travel agent, but spends the rest of the time with her family and of course her camera.
She has a degree from Photography School London and lots of passion for photography. Her father gave her a camera- Taxona, when she was only 7 years old, so quickly became the family photographer. He also taught her how to manually meter and set up the aperture. Back in this time you could see the result only when you pick up the photos from the lab. Quite challenging but at the same time exciting. Nadia treasures these photos not only because some of the family members are no longer among us, but also because they make her remember the happy times of her childhood.
During a trip to India back in 2013 Nadia experienced some unique people, saw some beautiful buildings, shared some of it’s culture and even remembers some of the sounds. Here she picked up her camera again and on her return started created NV Travel Photography. When she now looks at the images she took in India she says she feels that she travelled back in time and has shared some of the same experiences while exploring his lovely country.
Since then Nadia has been awarded one of the runners in a competition by Photography for Beginners’ magazine, Photo of the Day and Country Award by the official Lanzarote Instagram.
Nadia uses photography to communicate with the world by creating beauty, keep memories alive and tell stories.
As 2016 draws to a close here’s a few photo’s that have been taken by Nadia capturing some natural moments from around the Sussex area.
