As The Psychy Poet and a regular monthly columnist on The Sussex Newspaper for approaching four years, I have had another amazing and recent endorsement of my poetry!
The wonderful Lynn Parson of “Mellow Magic” 8.00 pm – midnight Monday to Friday on national Magic FM broadcasting internationally, regularly mentions my messages and has read out two of my poems in the past, but on Friday made my day (year? LOL).
I messaged in on Friday March 1st thatI was very pleased to have collected near £200 at a local Tesco who had kindly let me collect there for Help for Heroes. Lynn, who has my latest two books, read out live about my collecting for Help for Heroes, and mentioned my books with an amazing complimentary endorsement of my poetry, and my Facebook contact!
It just goes to show that if you keep striving for yourself and others it often pays off, and makes all the commitment and hard work very worthwhile.
I follow with a poem that is somewhat apt for this which I hope you enjoy, along with my monthly column articles…
Tango for One
They say it takes two to tango
And you must have two to dance.
But I don’t fully agree with this,
As alone you can make your stance!
For you are mostly responsible for,
Any bad things that happen to you.
So whilst it’s easy to blame others,
It’s largely down to what you do.
With any recorded success or not
And your choices of people met,
So any failure or unwanted grief
Is all down to your bad call or bet!
They say it takes two to tango

As alone you must take your stance.
Though it’s nice to dance with another
Who makes all your troubles seem small.
But don’t be fooled it will last forever,
As it’s all your fault should you stall!
