Paul Potts, the UK’s original and best-loved Britain’s Got Talent winner comes to Eastbourne’s premiere venue, the Congress Theatre, for a special evening celebrating the voice that captured a nation on Saturday 31st October.
From working as a manager at Carphone Warehouse to topping the charts with a number 1 album, Paul’s life has been a rollercoaster! With over 140 million views on Youtube of his first audition and a Hollywood film made about his life starring award-winning James Corden, Paul has come a long way from those tentative first steps in-front of the Britain’s Got Talent judges.
Having found global success with his albums and tours Paul continues to impress audiences worldwide with his powerful yet emotive operatic performances seven years after his celebrated Season One Britain’s Got Talent victory.
Paul says; “I’m delighted to be touring again. I enjoyed last year’s tour so much that I decided to go back out and visit some of the towns and cities that we didn’t get to last time. I can’t wait out to go back out on the road.”
Special guest Catriona Murray will be joining Paul, a classical soprano who was discovered earlier this year by fellow Britain’s Got Talent winner Jamie Lambert. Together, Catriona’s classical soprano voice and Paul’s rich, impressive talent will be sure to provide a wonderful evening to treasure.
