Builders’ Merchants Win Web Award

One of the region’s leading builders’ merchants has won a national award for its website for the second year in a row.

Parker Building Supplies has received the Website & Digital Initiative of the Year Award at the prestigious Builders’ Merchants Awards for Excellence.

Judges were looking for clear evidence that the firm’s website and digital initiatives have boosted its business in sales or brand awareness.

The Parker Building Supplies team was up against stiff competition from across the building industry, so they were delighted to win the accolade. The awards evening was held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London and more than 600 key figures from the builders’ merchant industry attended.

Parker Building Supplies’ Marketing Manager, Jamie Pierce, said: “We were extremely shocked to have won this award for the second year running but very proud to have done so. Our web team works very hard and this award recognises that. We’re all now looking forward to next year’s awards to see if we can make it a hat trick.”

Parker Building Supplies is an independent timber and builders’ merchant and employs around 250 people across the South East region.
