Can you judge our talent contest for writers?

Mithra Publishing in the UK is launching the world’s first talent competition for writers.

Bookstar UK 2014 offers new writers the chance to win a publishing contract and a £500 cash prize by reading samples of their work to a judging panel as well as a live audience.

The live event will run over two days.    We are looking for 5 judges who are based in the UK to be part of our expert panel. Ideally judges should be either published and established authors,  literary agents or senior figures in the book publishing / distribution business.  Bookstar 2014 will be held in October 2014.

We plan to hold similar events in the US, Australia and Asia.  If you would like to be on the judging panel,  please email  judges@bookstaruk.com
