On 26th November the Royal Hippodrome Theatre played host a Charity Gala of their Christmas Variety Show.
Hundreds of people took up the offer of free tickets in exchange for donating something at the end of the show. Nearly £900 was raised for the chosen charities of the evening, namely “Starlight” and the Theatre Renovation Fund.
A theatre spokesman said, “An enjoyable evening appeared to be had by all and it was in aid of such a good cause. As a community theatre, we enjoy being able to offer the community the opportunity of coming to see a show at the theatre. It is the third time we have done it and I am sure there will be many more opportunities. We would like to thank all those who donated so generously.”
“The RHT Christmas Variety Show” is a fun filled extravaganza that is guaranteed to entertain the whole family this Christmas.
