Clean for the Queen

Newhaven Town Council and Burleys will be “cleaning for the Queen” this Friday (tomorrow), 4th March, meeting at 10am at the Swimming Pool. If you are able to help, please do come along – litter pickers and hand sanitiser will be provided.

We will be concentrating on the one way system and swing bridge, particularly litter black spots such as in front of the Railway Club, behind the bus stop opposite the swimming pool and the grass verges along North Way.

Clean for the Queen 2016 is a national drive to clean up the country in time for the Queen’s 90th birthday which is on 21st April.
