Comedy Genius Lee Evans Comes to Eastbourne

 

It has just been announced that the brilliantly entertaining and engaging Lee Evans will be performing at the Congress Theatre, Eastbourne on Monday 7th July for one-night only with his Work In Progress, trying out brand new material for his forthcoming tour. Tickets are on sale from 10am, Monday 19th May and demand is expected to be huge.

Presented by Off the Kerb productions the show will give Lee a chance to test out his gags and latest uncanny observations ahead of the new Monsters tour, his most ambitious tour yet, scheduled to play for over 50 nights at the biggest arenas across the UK and Ireland.

Established comic actor and writer Lee Evans is not just known for his stand-up. His phenomenally humorous physicality has also gained him West End stage and Hollywood film success. A winner of both the Time Out and Perrier comedy awards Lee made his stage debut in End Game, was nominated for an Olivier award for his part in The Producers and received the London Theatregoer’s Choice Award performing in the Harold Pinter play The Dumb Waiter. His Hollywood Blockbuster appearances include The Fifth Element, Mouse Hunt and comedy classic There’s Something About Mary.
