Crawley Christmas Carol Success

Christmas Carols

 

Alzheimer’s Society’s held another successful Christmas Carol Concert in Crawley with more than 90 people attending.

The concert, organised by Crawley Forward Thinking Group – a group of people living well with dementia in the town, was held on Thursday 10th December at St Margaret’s Church, in Ifield.

Visitors and organisers hit the high notes with traditional and non-traditional readings and carols. It was followed by a Christmas De Café full of festive refreshments.

Sue Rennie, Alzheimer’s Society Services Manager for West Sussex North, said:

“A lot of hard work went into organising the Christmas Carol Concert in Crawley by these inspirational people with dementia, who have given their time for free. It was a  fantastic event and I think everyone really enjoyed it. This concert will help raise awareness of dementia in Crawley.”
