Don’t drive to exercise: South Hill Barn and High and Over Car Parks closing

Town Council close car parks to support social distancing

On Friday, 27th March 2020, Seaford Town Council closed South Hill Barn and High and Over Car Parks in support of the Government’s restrictions put in place to tackle the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Posters will be displayed in both car parks to discourage members of the public from driving to popular areas for daily exercise. This is in line with the Government’s most recent advice discouraging members of the public from making non-essential car journeys and instead to use open spaces close to home.

A Town Council Representative stated, “Seaford Town Council fully supports the Government’s restrictions to tackle COVID-19 and wants to encourage people to stay home and exercise within their local neighbourhood.”
