Football Fans urged to ‘Get on the Buses’

Community Transport for the Lewes Area (CTLA) have teamed up with Peacehaven & Telscombe FC  to provide free transport on matchdays, starting on Saturday 15 February, when the Ryman South league leaders play host to Faversham. The new scheme is designed to help the local community get more involved at the Peacehaven sports park by making their ground more accessible to fans, young and old alike, who can’t or don’t want to drive or would find it difficult to walk to games.

A pick up and drop off route map around the Peacehaven & Telscombe area is attached and fans are being urged take advantage to ensure it continues running next season.

CTLA’s General Manager Derek Barnett said: “We are very much looking forward to working with Peacehaven Football Club. We have exciting plans to help support the Magpies in their promotion campaign and all being well, continue that support into next season. We would like to hear from anyone who wishes to use the service so we can make sure that the route comes near to you, so please get in touch on 01273 517332.”
