Hastings Blue Reef Aquarium hosted a Frozen-themed Christmas tea party at over the festive holidays
The Rock-a-Nore Road attraction enlisted the help of everyone’s favourite snow queen and around a dozen youngsters, all aged three to seven, also joined in the fun.
The children, who were also dressed in their own Frozen-themed outfits, got the chance to meet the snow queen and enjoy a guided tour of the aquarium followed by a tea party in the café.
Blue Reef’s Leanna Lawson said: “It was a magical way to prepare for Christmas and everyone seemed to have a fabulous time.
“In fact the event went so well we have decided to hold another one during the February Half Term holidays,” she added.
Meeting in the aquarium in the morning, each child got to choose their own Under the Sea lunchbox before joining the snow queen and one of the Blue Reef aquarists on a tour of the displays.
Then at midday it was back to the cafe for the tea party before enjoying Frozen-themed games and activities. Each child received a frozen party bag.
Children must be aged three and above to take part. Three to five year old children are allowed one free adult to accompany them on the guided tour. Parents of children over five years of age can wait in the cafe as the tour takes place.
