The Hawth Theatre is pleased to announce the launch of their exciting new Youth Theatre, Ignite. Collaborating with theatre professionals, the day will host a range of workshops for those interested in drama, theatre, singing and dance. With many exciting workshops on offer, all participants will also be given an exclusive tour around the theatre, including backstage access. The launch day will end with a spectacular performance within the Studio theatre, where families are welcome to attend free of charge (subject to seating capacity).
Ignite provides a great taster workshop for inspiring young performers who would like to join the Hawth Youth Theatre, starting in September 2015. Building confidence and encouraging talent, the Youth Theatre caters to those who have the burning desire to perform onstage. Running two hour sessions on Thursday nights, the Youth Theatre will spend time with the 11-18 year olds honing their craft and skills. Teaming up with Sway, children aged 5-11 can join the weekly Tuesday drama and singing sessions. Membership will be £5 annually and £60 per term.
