Meet Peter Boehm our new Financial Columnist

With more than thirty years’ experience in the banking and financial services sectors, twelve of which were spent in London, Peter Boehm has an extensive knowledge and understanding of the consumer finance, home loan and property sectors in both the UK and Australia.
His experience working with and helping existing and aspiring home owners has provided him with valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities today’s home owner, first time buyer and property investor face.
Peter spent eight years working at Lloyds TSB Bank commencing as Treasury Manager at Mortgage Express and was not long after appointed Managing Director of Endeavour Personal Finance. Back in Australia, he is the Finance Editor with the Australian Stock Exchange listed www.onthehouse.com.au, a regular contributor and video presenter to Yahoo!7 Finance and is widely quoted in the Australian media on all matters relating to home ownership, property investment and mortgage finance and is the author of The Great Australian dream: A guide to buying your first home.
Peter is an experienced business leader with local and international experience as a director and senior executive with listed public company subsidiaries, private, not-for-profit, government and industry associations.
He holds a portfolio of directorships in Australia, is a chartered accountant and a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
