Monstersaurus! Comes to Life in Worthing

Big Wooden Horse and Nick Brooke Ltd present a national tour of their latest family production Monstersaurus!, which comes to the Connaught Theatre, Worthing on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th March. Based on the book by children’s author Claire Freedman, this show follows up from the success of their previous collaboration, Aliens Love Underpants.

This brand new production, described by director Adam Bampton-Smith as “Monster-ously good!” follows a young inventor named Monty, as he creates a world of whacky inventions and incredible monsters. After creating too many creatures, he must find a way to get rid of them all. It contains original music and lots of participation, offering an opportunity for audience members to get involved in the show.

Director Adam Bampton-Smith said “This is a wonderful show for young ones and there’s a lot to keep the grown-ups entertained! The reaction of children all over the country to Monstersaurus has been fantastic because it really brings the book straight to life right in front of their eyes. It’s an energetic show full of thrills, spills, magic and mayhem and will delight the whole family.”

Monstersaurus! plays at the Connaught Theatre, Union Place, Worthing on Saturday 4th March and Sunday 5th March with Saturday’s performance at 2.00pm and shows on Sunday at 11.00am and 2.00pm.
