Place a poppy on the people’s wreath

The People’s Wreath will be available at Burgess Hill Town Council Help Point for people to fill with Remembrance Day poppies in memory of all those who have lost their lives in conflicts around the world.
The wreath will be laid by the Town Mayor at the base of the town’s War Memorial on 11 November as part of the Armistice Day Commemoration Parade and Service.
The People’s Wreath will be available from Monday 31 October at the Town Council’s Help Point, 96 Church Walk.  Customers and visitors to the Help Point will be able to donate their poppies in the weeks leading up to the 11 November commemorative service.

Town Mayor, Jacqui Landriani, said: “The Help Point is delighted to host the People’s Wreath again this year.  We hope local people and visitors to Burgess Hill will give generously to the Poppy Appeal and create a wonderful wreath to lay at the commemoration service.”
