- D C’s Peers are now getting in on the act! Lord Freudalent Slip, Welfare Minister stated that disabled persons should only receive £2.00 an hour. Talk about adding insult to injury as the Lord was pictured getting out of his private swimming pool. It is amazing how many slips D C is allowing his Conservatives to get away with. The Conservative Party has lost control of itself, really out of touch with the people of this country. Too much money given to them has gone to their heads and they think they are all collectively “GOD.” The following is an extraction from news gleaned from the internet:-

Yes I am in agreement with the Department for Work and Pensions is animated by only one idea; that someone somewhere is claiming something to which they are not entitled – I thought it might be the CONSERVATIVES PAY RISE OF 11%. The CONSERVATIVES WON’T GIVE THE NHS WORKERS 1% PAY RISE – they are more important than TORY MP’S – AT LEAST THEY WORK HARD FOR THEIR PITTANCE OF PAY. When viewing the HOUSE OF LORDS & HOUSES OF PARLIAMENT – HALF OF THEM ARE ASLEEP!
News from the Home Front
Stagecoach Bus drivers seem to make their own decisions whether to stop to pick up passengers or not, having witnessed a man holding his arm out as you do to signify to the driver you would like to get on. No! The bus didn’t stop, but sailed on – of course the driver could have momentarily closed his eyes while driving his sparsely filled bus or was late on his rounds. Of course some buses don’t arrive at all at their respectively stops and no indication to the public that due to some incident or maybe they are not using that route any more.. The half dozen people waiting vainly for this bus at Farmlands Way were disappointed and after half an hour they had to find alternative transport. One person decided to write to STAGECOACH and EAST SUSSEX COUNTY COUNCIL – only to find that no-one could understand English, so nobody wrote back. Perhaps Stagecoach should get their horses back on the roads, prospective passengers would be able to run and get on with ease. As far as EAST SUSSEX COUNTY COUNCIL are concerned I’d be surprised if you would find anyone working there human enough or have the courtesy to write. Perhaps they haven’t passed the literacy test.
Chaos in Kings Drive, Eastbourne
You aint seen nothing yet – when the new Housing Estate has finished with building its “X number of properties” that’s when problems begin along Kings Drive. There will be traffic jams all along that route. Eastbourne will be grid locked because some GREEDY PERSON at Eastbourne Borough Council allowed it to happen. With one housing estate yet to be built in Polegate and another one further on will cause a calamity of epic proportions because one short sighted local Councillor has failed to see the problems that lay ahead and in five years time there won’t be any countryside – just a lot of buildings.
DRAMA without COLIN?
It appears that the DRAMA CHANNEL have dropped the actor who portrayed the male part of the couple in an advertisement. Either he got a chill from the ever opening window by his partner or being hit on the head constantly by a football addled his brain. What a shame he is not really there, but just by inference by the actress with an irritating voice. I’m afraid it doesn’t work. As I am on about advertisements – advertisers must be scraping the bottom of many barrels with outlandish and ludicrous ideas. They are so silly and also very irritating.
DRAMATIC ASSASSINATION
The ITV production of “The Great Fire of London” seems to have a full classical orchestra somewhere in the background playing as loud as possible spoiling any dialogue when spoken by actors. So much so you can’t hear what they are saying – rather defeats the play. I suppose what’s really happening, the orchestra is rehearsing at the same time as the “Great Fire” – that’s probably what the problem is – a double booking!
