Popular TV Favourite Launches Pantomime in Crawley

Now that Autumn is well and truly here, the cast of the fun-packed, family pantomime, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs visited The Hawth, Crawley for a photo call – and there can’t have been many other places filled with such colourful characters that day.

The pantomime, appearing from Friday 8th December 2017 to Sunday 7th January 2018, stars the hugely popular TV star Stephen Mulhern.

Stephen is one of the most in demand television presenters around today hosting a string of smash hit television shows, including Catchphrase and Britain’s Got More Talent. As well as TV, Stephen is an experienced all round entertainer having performed his very own magic and one man variety shows up and down the country for the past twelve years, and he even has a BAFTA Award under his belt! This will be his third time starring in The Hawth pantomime.

Michael J Batchelor is back as Crawley’s favourite dame. He (or should that be she?) first appeared at The Hawth in 2013 as one half of two truly ugly sisters and has returned as Nurse Nellie in Sleeping Beauty (2014/15) and Mrs Smee in last years record breaking Peter Pan. Each time Michael has garnered rave reviews from the press and public alike.

Crawley-born Lauren Cocoracchio first performed in The Hawth pantomime in 2014, when she won the title role in Sleeping Beauty after attending an open audition at the theatre. This year Lauren is back as the eponymous Snow White and will no doubt delight audiences once again.

Kain Francis takes on the role of Loopy, one of the seven dwarfs and has recently appeared in the box office hit Star Wars, The Force Awakens, while Richard Franks playing Herman will no doubt bring his comic genius to the role having appeared in, and written for, Cbeebies Spot Bots and Justin’s House.

From the same production team that brought you last year’s Box Office smash-hit Peter Pan, Snow White promises to be wonderful entertainment with stunning costumes and scenery and a genuinely funny script. Last year’s pantomime broke all box office records and was seen by over 32,000 people and tickets for this year’s festive season are already selling fast, so book now for the funniest and most spectacular show of the year!

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs appears at The Hawth, Crawley from Friday 8th December 2017 to Sunday 7th Jan 2018 with both daytime and evening performances. (No shows on Mondays). Tickets are available from The Hawth Box Office on 01293 553636 or by visiting hawth.co.uk
