How splendid they looked behind their individual pedestals expressing the good deeds they had done for the United Kingdom in the past and what they hope to achieve in the future if they were elected by the populace to become Prime Minister.
DC and his comic party had five years to implement a lot of the priorities that needed to be resolved, but it was a missed opportunity and the only thing that DC managed to do was to protect his rich cronies from that “Mansion Tax” that someone had mentioned and freedom from prosecution should they err from the straight and broad path they walked upon in the “House of Commons.”
I bet the Millionaires and Billionaires are sweating that their favourite leader might not be there to protect them and it is not because they haven’t paid enough protection money, far from it – they have systematically paid the Conservatives millions of pounds over many years which they have tried to hide from the public.
It is a pity that the Conservatives can’t play a fair game on a level pitch! Their goal posts are only two inches apart and everybody else’s are twenty yards wide. Much to my innocent ways I was at one time a Conservative supporter when men were men and fair and to name IAN GOW as one of the most decent of persons who served Eastbourne who was assassinated by the IRA for being the Minister for Northern Ireland.
Listening to all the fairy stories that came out of the mouths of those seven persons was a lesson in education that none of them liked each other and especially the two leaders of the Coalition Government which supposedly had been formed with respect for each other and that the truth had been displayed on the media from this broadcast that they hated each other. What a tissue of lies this past Government was based upon. No wonder we, the public suffered under their hands.
It is funny how George Osborne has intimated that everything is coming together and DC has stated that if they were elected for a further term of five years, all those priorities that were at the top of the list when they took over five years ago were going to be done! Hospitals, Migration, Transport, Road Safety, Parking and the list goes on. All of these important issues the Tories had five years to resolve, but never did – they came out with all sorts of excuses why these things were impossible to do, so why make a political promise you can never keep or have no intention of keeping?
The only thing they did was to help themselves to keep the RICH in the custom they were used to and the POOR, POORER! It is a shame really and the fundamental reason which DC and his COMIC PARTY have overlooked – that all these people he has walked on for five years – VOTE!
How many politicians do you know who will answer a question you put to them? They seem to go round the houses avoiding a satisfactory answer by the questioner and by the time the MP has finished, you’ve forgotten what you asked in the first place.
You must admit Politicians and the political scene is none other than a Pantomime with tendencies to tell the public Fairy Stories!
News from Eastbourne!
Slowly but surely some roads in Eastbourne are being made safe for road users – but I have noticed that Beechy Avenue has had half the road re-surfaced but unfortunately the part that has been re-done has a deep hole in it already which ESCC has carefully chalked round!
There are still large holes appearing in major roads that really need urgent attention. All the time that these are left they become larger and hazardous to drivers of all vehicles, motorcycles and cyclists.
Parking is becoming a premium in Eastbourne – double white lines are getting longer and more yellow lines are being introduced to make life for the motorist difficult and costly. I am sure that every Town and major City has the same problem.
