I couldn’t believe my ears when a few pensioners were willing to part with £32,250 of their hard earned money for a measly £25 a week to boost their state pension. My theory is that they were all paid actors to state they would join the scheme.
At the age of 65 or over people can be prone to all sorts of diseases and it would be disastrous should your partner of the same age knowingly joined this Government scheme and died a year later. The questions you have to ask yourself, would your partner get his or her money back and can the Government explain in layman’s language is the scheme worth the gamble for just £25? Most probably an answer would come back as a waffle of nonsense with little hope of understanding what the spokesman is talking about.
This present Government are always looking for free handouts and of course it has got to be the group of people of a certain age that are to be led by the nose because of a promise that the garden of Eden is just round the corner. Several questions come to my mind and as £32,250 is invested, who is going to reap from the interest. Certainly not the investor. This is a Scheme made in heaven for the Government – if it’s too good to be true it’s a scam.
Pensioners shouldn’t have to pay out extreme amounts of money to the powers that are in control, it should be the other way round. Perhaps the Government haven’t grasped the basic fundamental of being honest and fair to the people who voted them in.
Isn’t this disgraceful!
There is a Hospital that is paying a finance director of Medway Foundation Trust almost ONE MILLION POUNDS TO GET THE BOOKS STRAIGHT. The hospital in question overspent by over £30,000,000 last year and is willing to pay someone £1,000,000 to put things right, sounds like a false economy to me. They could make their first cut of £500,000 to the man they are employing. There are more people living on this planet and people get ill. It is a known thing and you can’t be blinded by science as the Government tend to be fitted with horse blinkers and should make sure that Hospitals get the proper funding to function properly. If only the Government would play fair, hospitals wouldn’t be in such a financial mess. The Doctors and Nurses are doing what they should do at the best of their ability, not only under financial pressure but through no fault of their own have to make decisions on the clinical front when patients are disappointed to be informed that their operations have been cancelled. Remember the doctors and nurses get a pittance for what they do every day (24/7), while the Government give themselves a 10% rise every year for raising taxes to pay for their 10% rise.
You get what you pay for!
And Boy! Are we paying for it. The present Government seem intent of inventing new ways to tax people in the United Kingdom. According to the dailies they state that DC and his comic party are out of touch with the populace. It is my firm belief they are not even on this planet. There is no such thing as a straight road where DC and his Comic party are concerned, they are more at home with round-abouts, it is easier to do U TURNS. No use in turning to the Labour Party for support as JC and his lot invented UTURNS and they will back DC because they think he is doing the right thing. If you’re rich your in – if you’re poor your out.
