Funding available for North Horsham good causes

Charities and community projects in the North Horsham area are being urged not to miss out on funding.

North Horsham County Local Committee (CLC) has more than £33,000 left to allocate from its Community Initiative Fund for the 2013/14 financial year.

Committee Chairman Brad Watson OBE said: “Through the Community Initiative Fund, we have been able to give grants to a variety of projects which have made a difference to people in our area.

“I would encourage any individual or group in the North Horsham District area who need assistance with a project that will benefit the community to send us their application as soon as possible.

“We’d love to help more people, and I’m sure there are lots of wonderful – and worthy – charities or organisations that would benefit from our help.”

The deadline for applications to North Horsham CLC’s Community Initiative Fund is Friday February 21.

Application forms and information on how to apply, as well as eligibility criteria, can be found at www.westsussex.gov.uk. Search for ‘Community Initiative Funding’.

Grant applications will be considered at the final North Horsham CLC meeting for the financial year, which will be held at 7pm on Monday March 10 in the Main Conference Room, County Hall North, Chartway, Horsham, RH12 1XA.
