Henrietta Hipp’s Funhouse entertains at the Royal Hippodrome!

Saturday 14th September saw the very first Henrietta Hippo’s Funhouse.  A new Saturday morning theatre show for children aged 3—10.  Each show has a different theme and on the 14th the theme was knights and Princesses.  All the children in the audience came along in fancy dress and won prizes for the best costumes.  There were games, songs and dances as well as a short film starring Henrietta herself where she defeated the Dark Knight!  Joined by sister hosting duo, Melissa and Melinda along with her “Funhouse Crew” (pictured) a great time was had by all.
The show has been designed so that parents can bring their young children without the worry of being “stared at” or “shhhshed” by other members of the audience—as everyone is there for the same reason.
The next show (which is of course different to the last) is on Saturday 5th October at 10.30am.  Tickets are just £4 if purchased in advance from the box office (01323 412000 or www.royalhippodrome.com) or £6 on the door.  The theme this time is Beasts, Bugs and Sea Creatures.  The mind boggles as to what treats Henrietta has in store.  There is only one way to find out and that is to come along and see!
