I recently underwent minor surgery to have a very difficult cataract removed from my left eye. I went to the eye clinic with trepidation, not knowing how this operation was going to be performed on a delicate and important organ. Sight plays a significant part in one’s life and to be told that after 72 years of wearing spectacles I wouldn’t need them any more was wonderful news and this helped me in meeting my fear face on and walking into an unknown world.
I needn’t have worried as the calmness of the ward where five other persons were about to undergo the same treatment was reassuring. Nurses were busy with their pre-operation procedures and those like myself being one of the first timers were given assurance that all will be well.
The kindness and consideration given to each patient was paramount and the fastidious way in making sure that each patient left with the full knowledge of what they had to do for themselves over the coming four weeks and should any unforeseen problem arise they must report back immediately.
I can’t wait to have my right eye done by the best Eye Suite in the World!
GONE PHISHING!
Who hasn’t had a scam this year, last year and the year before – my computer has recorded at least several hundred and possibly several thousand, but who’s counting. If your email address is amongst several other addresses similar to yours, it is a dead give away that the person doing it is phishing, so don’t panic. Threatening to do something to your computer or anything else must be ignored and the message deleted instantly. The next thing to do is to contact the official website of the company the Scammer is using by telephone to see if anything is amiss but the one thing you mustn’t do is press enter on the evil goblin’s email address. Be assured the net is closing on these people like a COBWEB as the Spider said to the Fly.
