Kelly Mikulla is the Managing Director of Utilise It, the original hire finding service in the UK.
Kelly, also an accountant set up Utilise It in 2009 after selling a vehicle hire company. The Utilise It concept was born when the construction industry hit a recession and Kelly discovered that her retail customers liked the option to hire an older van at a cheaper rate, therefore Kelly started to hire out builders vans making the owner approximately £620 per month at a 60% utilisation rate, the hirer paid less to hire the van and everyone was happy. Since then Kelly has continued to seek new opportunities and the idea has evolved in to a free hire finding service for predominately event organisers, wedding planners, photographers and TV and filming production. Kelly will be sharing her experience on how you or your business can make money from hiring out anything from an ear trumpet to open land.
When Kelly is not working, she really enjoys a number of activities such as playing softball, clay pigeon shooting, water sports, flying, picnics and absolutely loves living in West Sussex.
